The Power Up North American Tour marks the band’s first visit back to the United States in nine years, according to a news release. AC/DC last played Tampa in 2008 at Amalie Arena (then called the St. Pete Times Forum).

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Rock ‘N’ Roll band, AC/DC, is set to perform at Raymond James Stadium this spring. For the first time in nine years, the band is back on the road, making 13 stops across the U.S. for their 2025 Power Up North American Tour.

AC/DC is on the highway to Pittsburgh next year. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band announced Monday it will be performing May 8 at Acrisure Stadium for its 2025 Power Up tour. Tickets go on sale at noon Friday.

Until recently, AC/DC had last performed live in 2016 on the Rock Or Bust Tour, but that changed with a 2023 Power Trip festival performance and then the 2024 launch of the Power Up tour. Earlier this year, the tour hit Europe and the UK, and today (December 2), the band has announced they’re bringing the trek to North America.
