After the toy company conglomerate launched its limited-edition Barbie dolls in collaboration with Universal Picture’s new Wicked adaptation, eagle-eyed shoppers noticed that one of the websites printed on the boxes linked to a similarly titled porn site.

The toymaker sparked a scandal last month after the packaging for some "Wicked" merchandise directed customers to an adult film site.

An attorney in the proposed class action says, "Parents trust that products marketed to children are safe and free from risks of exposure to harmful content."

According to Variety, a South Carolina woman is launching a class action lawsuit against Mattel after her young daughter accidentally visited the illicit site that had “nothing to do with the Wicked doll.

The plaintiff said her daughter showed her hardcore photographs from the website and both were "horrified" by what they saw, suffering emotional distress.
