A 13-year-old and 15-year-old have been charged with capital murder after 39-year-old Anthony Egeonu was fatally shot last week.

Christoper Scott Johnson, 38, is charged in the deaths of Darla McKenzie, 68, and Michael McKenzie, 72. The couple lived in Roswell, Georgia.

A woman tried to escape her alleged kidnapper in central Mississippi and tragically lost her life. This happened Monday morning, Jan. 27. Joshua Andrews allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend from the Nissan plant in Canton — which is north of Jackson — forced her into a vehicle and fled onto Interstate 55.

Birmingham police have charged Wilbert Reynolds Jr., 51, of Birmingham, and Dexter Jemison, 54, of Bessemer with capital murder. The suspects are cousins.
