Residents in and around Los Angeles are praying for safety from wildfires sweeping the area. Investors in Edison International are mostly hoping the company’s equipment didn’t start any of the fires.

An outage map provided by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) showed just how widespread the outages extended

The massive Palisades Fire broke out in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon, prompting mandatory evacuations affecting tens of thousands of people and highway closures. Later Tuesday, the Eaton Fire broke out in the foothills of Pasadena on the other side of Los Angeles County.
