By Hyonhee Shin and Hyunsu Yim SEOUL (Reuters) -South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said he would "fight to the end" on Thursday as his own political party shifted closer to voting with the opposition to impeach him over his short-lived martial law order that threw the U.

In a defiant televised address, President Yoon argued his martial-law decree was an act of governance. The South Korean leader is under investigation for a variety of charges, including insurrection.

The leader of South Korea's ruling People Power Party says he is now in favor of impeaching President Yoon Suk Yeol over his short-lived declaration of martial law.
