The family of Hannah Kobayashi, a Hawaii woman who vanished into LA after missing a connecting flight to New York, hit back at claims made by LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell about the case.

Hannah Kobayashi went missing Nov. 8 after flying from Hawaii to L.A. Her connecting flight at LAX would have taken her to New York, where she planned to visit relatives.
