Louisville football will be without its starting quarterback for its upcoming bowl game. Tyler Shough announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he would be sitting out the Sun Bowl game and entering the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Sun Bowl will see the Louisville Cardinals entering a showdown against the Washington Huskies on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. ET on CBS.The Cardinals head into this matchup

Shough is the second Cardinal to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft and opt out of the Sun Bowl, following wide receiver Ja'Corey Brooks. Louisville has also seen 14 players enter the transfer portal as well.
