After several days of freezing cold temperatures and wintery showers, the weather is set to become milder this weekend with temperatures set to creep back up. The Met Office has issued dozens of weather warnings for snow and ice over the last week, with many areas waking up to a blanket of snow on Sunday morning.

Parts of England and Wales will be by further heavy snow this week, with new weather warnings issued lasting until the end of Wednesday.
