A Minneapolis man was driving 90 mph when he crashed into a car parked in a St. Paul church parking lot, causing a man to be thrown from the parked car, according to a criminal vehicular homicide charge filed Tuesday.

Police have identified the St. Paul man killed when his parked car was struck by a driver fleeing a traffic stop on Sunday. Minnesota State Patrol says that Day Por Tho, 36, was parked at Larpenteur Avenue and Arcade Street when a 28-year-old man crashed into his car.

A person has died after a driver crashed into their vehicle after fleeing from law enforcement in St. Paul, the Minnesota State Patrol said Monday. The incident began when a trooper stopped a vehicle for speeding near Interstate 94 and Marion Street just after 11:15 p.m. Sunday.
