The U’s final regular-season road game will be against Northwestern at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Nov. 22. The Wildcats are playing a few games each season at the Chicago Cubs’ baseball stadium while a new Ryan Field is being built on campus in Evanston.

The Gophers will open their season on August 28 with a matchup against the Buffalo Bulls, and once again, they will close their regular season on November 29 against the Wisconsin Badgers in a battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe.

Yes, all of the bowl games for the 2024 season still have yet to be played but the Big Ten officially announced the 2025 slate on Wednesday. For Minnesota, it includes another Thursday night home-opener, the Gophers’ first trip to Oregon for a Big Ten showdown, and a matchup at historic Wrigley Field.
