Alaska lawmakers say a budget resolution passed by the U.S. House of Representatives late Tuesday could lead to funding cuts that would gut Medicaid programs used by a third of Alaskans — or exacerbate Alaska's fiscal crisis by forcing the state to step in and cover the cost of programs that underpin the state's health care system.
