Another interesting tidbit from Omdia’s report is that Apple may update the MacBook Air with OLEDs, but not until 2027–and that OLED will continue to have a “Notch Cut,” not the “Hole Cut.” It appears that Apple wants to use the camera notch and hole as a way to further distinguish the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.

Omdia’s roadmap suggests that Apple aims to land the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with OLED displays between 2026 and 2027.
