The Law & Order universe will officially expand to streaming in April. Peacock has set an April 17 premiere date for season five of Law & Order: Organized Crime, its first since moving from NBC following the end of season four.

Organized Crime” officially has a Season 5 premiere date. The series, which officially moved from NBC to Peacock, will debut its first two episodes on April 17, followed by eight new episodes streaming weekly.

Organized Crime will be back for Season 5 on Thursday, April 17, Peacock announced Thursday. To mark the occasion, the streamer released a flurry of photos (seen below) plus a teaser trailer featuring the first footage from the SVU spinoff’s fifth season.

Peacock has slotted April 17 for the Season 5 premiere of Law & Order: Organized Crime, its first season on the streamer following its move from NBC. It will launch with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes weekly.

Organized Crime is in unprecedented territory. It's the first Law & Order spinoff to not air directly on NBC. The network decided to shift the spinoff to its streaming platform, Peacock, where it will resume with its fifth season.
