Now his Bellator contract has run its course. featherweight contender Aaron Pico has called on PFL chairman Donn Davis to grant his release from the promotion.

The PFL wants to keep Pico, but Pico wants to leave to sign with the UFC. Pico told Morgan today, “I want to be very upfront, I don’t want to fight in the PFL. I don’t want to fight in Bellator. I want to fight in the UFC. Donn Davis won’t give me my full release… Come on man, do what’s right and give me my full release.”

Aaron Pico is eager to move on with his career but says the PFL is preventing him from doing so. Pico (13-4) hasn't competed since a first-round TKO of Henry Corrales last February at the PFL vs. Bellator: Champions event in Saudi Arabia,
