The decision became public in a video posted to his Instagram and X accounts. Pro Football Focus currently rates Ewers as the No. 7 quarterback in the 2025 draft class.

Quinn Ewers is heading to the NFL. After much speculation as to whether the Texas quarterback would enter the transfer portal, where he reportedly had multiple lucrative offers, the junior has decided to enter the 2025 NFL Draft.

Ewers, a three-year starter, was expected to turn pro after leading the Longhorns to consecutive playoff appearances.

The decision was largely expected after Ewers told ESPN last week that he didn’t plan to return to college football in 2025.
