Samsung recently teased a new "multimodal" change for Galaxy AI's Sketch to Image, courtesy of its One UI 7 software. The feature will let users draw with an S Pen or type an image description, as well as use "voice commands" with the AI drawing assist.

The new Drawing Assist feature supports multiple input methods, including sketching with the S Pen or finger, text descriptions, and voice commands.

Sketch to Image — one of the marquee tools unveiled at Unpacked in July of last year — is going multimodal with One UI 7, allowing new and existing users alike to create and edit drawings and photos without having to pick up an S Pen at all.

Samsung is adding the ability to combine voice and text inputs to your drawing when generating images with the Sketch to Image tool.
