Toronto Blue Jays spring training game after Blue Jays pitcher Richard Lovelady hit Bryce Harper on his right arm with a 92 mph fastball. Harper underwent medical examination and found out his right bicep is bruised,

Able to walk the pitch off, Harper was immediately pulled from the contest, checked, and sent home. With Dunedin being quite literally one town over from Clearwater, Harper drove to the game. After a quick check-up and a shower, he got in his car and went home for the night.

Harper did not talk postgame, but manager Rob Thomson said he is not concerned about the Phillies star, who is not expected to need X-rays.
