Hallmark Channel’s Sugarplummed is one of those holiday movies that messes with the stereotypical formula. It stars Maggie Lawson from Psych and Janel Parrish from Pretty Little Liars. And it’s fun, sweet, and about as meta as a Hallmark Media movie can get.
Given Sugarplummed’s meta premise, it seems odd that the film would choose not to feature an epic romance story in the mix.
