Andrew Tate, 38, born Emory Andrew Tate III, and his younger brother Tristan Tate, 36, are U.K.-U.S. citizens born to Emory Tate, an African American international chess master, and mother, Eileen Tate.

Andrew and Tristan Tate’s departure from Romania comes just days after reports that Trump was pressuring the country’s leaders to lift their travel restrictions.

Romania allowed the travel after pressure from Trump officials, a person familiar with the case said. The brothers, vocal Trump supporters, were detained in 2022.
