Police and the Inspector General's Office are investigating a deadly shooting that took place at a U.S. Postal facility in Missouri City overnight. One person is in custody at this time. According to reports,

Authorities identified the suspect as Derrick Lott, who has been charged with murder and is in police custody. Missouri City police identified the victim as Kevin J. Hines. KHOU reported that both the suspect and victim were co-workers. It's unclear what caused the shooting.

USPS worker shot dead by co-worker at Missouri City processing center - An employee opened fire inside the facility, striking and killing another worker, police said
