Storm Kingston swept across the U.S. from the Midwest into the South and mid-Atlantic, bringing snow, ice and dangerous road conditions to cities including Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kansas City and Roanoke, Virginia.

On Tuesday at 9:59 p.m. the NWS Wakefield VA issued an updated winter storm warning valid from Wednesday 10 a.m. until Thursday 6 p.m. The warning is for Western Currituck and Eastern Currituck as well as Northampton,
