Ford's latest in a string of (many) recalls covers the Bronco Sport made from 2021-2023 and the 2022-2023 Maverick. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that the Ford recall covers 272,817 models in total, which will be recalled for an issue with the 12-volt battery in both models.

In the latest Ford Motor Company recall, the major automaker names almost 275,000 SUVs and pickup trucks for potentially faulty batteries. The 12V batteries aboard certain Ford Maverick compact pickup trucks and Bronco Sport SUVs could fail, “increasing the risk of a crash.”
