CES 2025 finally gave us a look at Nvidia's new RTX 5000 series of graphics cards, and the flagship RTX 5090 GPU's performance capabilities compared to the last generation's RTX 4090 - but early benchmarks for its laptop GPU don't look very promising.

In the laptop segment, the new Blackwell Max-Q technology delivers 40% better battery life and double the performance of previous generations. The RTX 5090 Laptop GPU comes with 24GB of GDDR7 memory, while the RTX 5080 model features 16GB, targeting creators and demanding workflows. The Laptop models will be available starting March.
