With the first week of New York’s Congestion Pricing toll in the books, commuters are reaping a reward, spending less time in traffic in exchange for their $9 toll to enter lower Manhattan, said the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

That's a direct result of the city's new congestive pricing program, which was instituted first on Sunday, January 5th after facing months of delays due to Governor Kathy Hochul getting pressure from lawsuits and inflation concerns to postpone the plan.
