Ange Postecoglou described Tottenham Hotspur's dismal Premier League campaign as unacceptable after they slumped to a lame 2-1 defeat at north London rivals Arsenal on Wednesday.

With six defeats in their past 10 games, a loss to their biggest rivals and closer to the relegation zone than the top four, things are going from bad to worse for Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou says his side’s league form “can’t be accepted by anyone at the club” after a 2-1 north London derby defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday. Spurs took the lead through captain Son Heung-min in the 25th minute but an own goal from Dominic Solanke and a strike from Leandro Trossard meant that Arsenal took the lead into half-time and did not relinquish it after the break.

Leandro Trossard transformed the mood at Arsenal with the winning goal as they recovered from an early setback to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at home and move back into second place in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Ange Postecoglou said he hopes his Tottenham players are hurting after their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday and labelled the performance "unacceptable."
