An anti-abortion leader who made headlines in 2022 after Washington, D.C., authorities discovered fetal remains inside her apartment was one of several activists pardoned by President Donald Trump on Thursday.

Two Massachusetts residents were pardoned by the president for their role in an October 2020 invasion of a Washington clinic.

Anti-abortion activists who gathered in Washington DC have criticised President Donald Trump for not supporting an end to national abortion access, one day after he issued pardons to 23 activists, including some convicted of blockading a reproductive health clinic and intimidating staff and patients.
