FIFA has announced the US host cities and stadiums where the 2025 Club World Cup will be played next summer. The revamped tournament will feature 32 of the world’s best club teams competing in 63 matches across 12 stadiums between June 14 and July 13,

The U.S. will host the first expanded men’s Club World Cup next year, the men’s World Cup in 2026, the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics, potentially the 2029 Club World Cup and then end their historic run by hosting the women’s World Cup in 2031.

FIFA has imposed a two team-per-nation rule for the new Club World Cup. Once met, no other team from that country can qualify. It means than next year, a number of Europe's biggest clubs, including FC Barcelona, Liverpool, and Napoli, will miss out.

FIFA announced the official schedule for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 on Saturday, with Atlanta to host six matches next summer.

DAZN will serve as the exclusive global broadcaster of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, a 32-team tournament held across the United States next summer.

The same rule notably prevented Liverpool from qualifying for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Since Manchester City and Chelsea automatically qualified as UEFA Champions League winners, another club from England was not permitted to play in the tournament.

At the end of this season, Manchester City will take part in the expanded FIFA Club World Cup. Pep Guardiola’s side has been drawn in Group G of the competition.
