Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, was accused in a lawsuit Sunday of raping a teenage girl after an awards show more than two decades ago along with Sean “Diddy” Combs, the hip-hop mogul facing federal sex trafficking charges and a wave of lawsuits alleging sexual assault.

The plaintiff alleges she was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement before being given a drink she believes was spiked.

The already high-profile, Houston-based lawyer has gained additional fame by filing 20 lawsuits against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs alleging a pattern of sexual abuse of men and women.

Z have denied the lawsuit's allegations. In a then-burgeoning hip-hop scene, the fellow New York natives rose to prominence in the East Coast rap world through the mid-1990s. Their music tapped into hard knocks and entrepreneurial ambitions – but both wanted more than album sales and positive reviews.

The rap mogul has been named in a lawsuit against Diddy. This is just the beginning of what is sure to be a long legal fight.

The chorus to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ song “Do You Like It… Do You Want It,” which also features Jay-Z, asks a now eerily prophetic question: “Wanna know what it’s like to be me?”

Z, aka Shawn Carter, have filed an affidavit claiming that Tony Buzbee, the attorney who named Jay in a lawsuit accusing him of raping a 13-year-old in 2000 with Sean “Diddy” Combs, tried to coerce an individual to link an unrelated sex trafficking case to Combs.
