Family of woman who died of an overdose in Duval County jail (and is actively suing JSO) has questions after an attorney was arrested for passing drugs to inmates.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is putting a stop to the illegal drug flow into the Duval County Jail. On Tuesday, JSO announced the arrest of Nathan Williams, a local criminal defense attorney. Williams is facing 8 felony charges.

A Florida defense attorney was arrested in connection to a months-long investigation into how illegal drugs were finding their way in to the county jail.

A Jacksonville defense attorney now faces multiple felony charges after police said he smuggled drugs known on the street as “paper dope” into the Duval County jail.

Criminal defense attorney Nathan Williams faces eight felony charges in the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s Operation Stamp Collection.
