Kering appointed Louise Trotter as new creative director for its Bottega Veneta brand, the latest shake-up by the French luxury-goods giant in recent months as it seeks to inject new life into its fashion houses.

Kering announced Thursday that Louise Trotter has been named creative director of the Bottega Veneta fashion house, taking over from Matthieu Blazy. Trotter arrives from the French brand Carven, where she has been creative director since February 2023.

On Thursday, Kering and Bottega Veneta revealed Louise Trotter as the brand's new creative director, succeeding Matthieu Blazy. Trotter is set to officially join the house in January 2025, ushering in a fresh chapter for the luxury label.
