From a laptop with a screen that grows to a 1-kilogram ultraportable to the world's most powerful 14-inch workstation, these are the laptops that grabbed our attention at CES.

The ROG Zephyrus G14 is a mainstay among our recommendations for best gaming laptop, and after last year’s significant redesign, I wasn’t expecting any serious changes this year. And there weren’t. And yet, the small tweaks make this already spectacular laptop that much better.

There are many new laptops coming from Dell, Alienware, Asus, Acer, Lenovo, MSI, and Razer. Many may just boil down to chip bumps and slight refreshes, but there are some that are betting big on new ideas, thinness, raw power, and over-the-top accouterments. Here are the ones I’m most excited for.
