Bill Belichick's UNC GM, Michael Lombardi, discussed the decision to take the job, plan to "expand it to a national program."

First up, Michael Lombardi. The NFL personnel executive turned media personality will join Belichick at North Carolina as the General Manager of the program. Most recently, Lombardi worked for VSiN. He worked for multiple NFL teams from 1984 through 2007. After an initial media stint, he became G.M. of the Browns in 2013.

Bill Belichick, who turns 73 in April, was officially introduced Thursday as the new head football coach at North Carolina, the place where his father, Steve, was an assistant coach in the 1950s. He brought his father’s old hoodie to his introductory press conference and held it up.
