Coming off a crushing road loss against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, the Memphis Grizzlies went into the second leg of a back-to-back desperate for a win. The Grizzlies traveled to face the Orlando Magic on Friday, and the big cross-conference matchup came down to the wire.

The Memphis Grizzlies have bounced back this season as one of the better teams in the Western Conference. After an injury-riddled year last season, Memphis has reclaimed its spot among the elite teams in the West.

Grizzlies general manager Zach Kleiman is shutting down any Ja Morant rumors. One day after talk emerged of Morant potentially being the next NBA superstar on the move, Kleiman called “nonsense” on any notion the guard could be leaving Memphis any time soon.
