The FBI confirmed that Jabbar had placed homemade bombs at points around the French Quarter and was in possession of a detonator. They believe police stopped him from setting of those bombs.

The New Orleans Saints and NFL plan to donate $1 million to the relief efforts for the victims of the New Year's Day attacks in the French Quarter, team officials announced Saturday.
