The Winnipeg Jets have placed forward Morgan Barron on injured reserve. There is yet to be confirmation as to the exact nature of Barron’s injury or how long he will be out.

Pavel Zacha is third on the Bruins in points (28), fourth in assists (17) and fifth in goals (11). MacKinnon has posted 170 points (66g/104a) in 142 January games throughout his career. Devon Toews is one assist shy of 200 for his career.

Barron was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per the NHL media site. Barron logged 12:10 of ice time in Winnipeg's 4-1 win over Montreal on Tuesday, so this move can presumably be retroactive to that date.
