About two years after a train derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, a Congressman from our area is continuing his push to get rail safety legislation through the chamber. KDKA's Chris Hoffman has more on this story.

The residents who question whether Norfolk Southern's $600 million settlement offers enough compensation for the East Palestine train crash don't plan to let a judge's order requiring an $850,000 bond derail their appeal.

"It can't just be a slap on the wrist for powerful railroads. They've got to respect us in a real way," U.S. Rep. Chris Deluzio said on Wednesday in Tarentum.

Nearly two years after a train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, caused a chemical explosion, resident Hilary Flint says she still feels its detrimental effects on her health. Flint was forced to move when chemicals began to seep into the air, making her sick.
