Brown and company will be joined by the East starters in Celtics teammate Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks, Donovan Mitchell of the Cavs, Karl-Anthony Towns of the New York Knicks, and Knicks teammate Jalen Brunson.

Brown is joined by other reserves, including Milwaukee’s Damian Lillard, Cleveland’s Darius Garland, Detroit’s Cade Cunningham, Miami’s Tyler Herro, Cleveland’s Evan Mobley, and Indiana’s Pascal Siakam. Shortly after the news, the Celtics reacted on social media.

Boston Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown has been named to the All-Star team as a reserve this year. This will mark the fourth time that Brown has been named to the All-Star team in his career. Brown joins fellow All-Star teammate Jayson Tatum this season as the two will represent the defending champions in San Francisco.

Tatum will be a starting player for the Eastern Conference team, the league announced last week, while it was announced on Thursday that Brown will be a reserve player.
