It was only fitting that Jerry Jones, who made a fortune in the oil industry, made an appearance on a popular TV series about the oil boom in West Texas. And no surprise that the Dallas Cowboys owner and president earned rave reviews.

Dallas Cowboys and NFL fans may have been looking for a break after the final weekend of the regular season (which included Dallas' last-second 23–19 loss to the Washington Commanders). They also may have wanted a diversion from rumors of whether or not head coach Mike McCarthy might be fired.

Jerry Jones made an appearance on the Paramount+ TV show "Landman." He put forth a strong performance in a speech about the importance of his family.

The Cowboys owner popped up in episodes of “Coach,” “Arli$,” “Entourage,” “Cubed” and “The League.” Jones also appeared in the 2024 documentary series about the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. “Landman” streams on Paramount+ and will air its season finale on Sunday, Jan 12.

Jerry Jones nailed it. Not one false step. Any criticism of the Cowboys owner and his performance is completely unfounded and born of jealousy. We’re not talking about his role as general manager this past season.
