Kyogo Furuhashi has officially left Celtic, joining French Ligue 1 side Rennes on a permanent basis. The striker made 186 appearances for the Parkhead side, contributing to 104 goals along the way. He won eight major trophies in Glasgow's east end, including a treble under previous manager Ange Postecoglou.

Kyogo's move from Celtic to Rennes looks to have got off to a complicated start, with the French side sacking their manager. Fabrizio Romano claims that Jorge Sampaoli has been dismissed by the Ligue 1 outfit. Rennes have endured a poor season to date. They sit 16th in France's top flight, just four points clear of bottom side Le Havre.
