Apple released a new macOS Yosemite update that accidentally lists the unreleased M4 MacBook Air models. The launch must be close.

Forget Mark Gurman – it looks like the biggest Apple leaker is… Apple itself with clues left in macOS 15.2 about new M4 MacBook Airs.

With the M4 MacBook Pro and M4 iMac, Apple upgraded the 1080p FaceTime camera to a 12MP Center Stage camera, so it’s not much of a leap to think that Apple will also outfit the M4 MacBook Air with a Center Stage camera as well.

The M3 MacBook Air has been hailed as the best ultra-portable laptop that will grace 2024. The M4 will go higher with better performance, more memory, and enhanced features for the camera. However, exciting as these leaks are, they remain mere speculation until Apple puts that official stamp on it.

An M4 update to the MacBook Air in 2025 has been rumored for some time, but information exclusive to AppleInsider suggests that the new model will have Center Stage support from an ultrawide camera.

Apple's best-selling notebook is supposedly set to be updated in spring 2025. Findings in macOS 15.2 support the assumption that the update is imminent.
