The move is the latest shakeup to Wisconsin’s quarterback room and comes two days after Van Dyke opted to leave the program for the transfer portal. Van Dyke has one year of eligibility remaining, and there were no guarantees he would be healthy enough for the Badgers next season after coming off an ACL tear in his right knee against Alabama.

Wisconsin starting quarterback Braedyn Locke is the latest player to enter his name into the transfer portal. Locke joins fellow Badger quarterbacks Tyler Van Dyke and Cole LaCrue among several others to put their names into the portal.

Redshirt sophomore Braedyn Locke announced his intention to leave Wisconsin on social media Wednesday afternoon.
