Three-time Cy Young Award winner Justin Verlander is in agreement with the San Francisco Giants on a one-year contract pending a physical, ESPN and other outlets reported Tuesday night.

Michael Lorenzen and the Kansas City Royals have agreed to a $7 million, one-year contract that includes a mutual option for 2026, a person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press.

The Royals re-signed right-handed pitcher Michael Lorenzen to a one-year, $7 million deal on Monday, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan. The deal also includes a second-year mutual option for $12 million. The Royals acquired Lorenzen in July from the Texas Rangers in exchange for Walter Pennington.
