The Badgers lost almost all of a 17-point halftime lead, but hit on 25 of 28 free throw attempts and posted 70-68 win over the Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes shot a woeful 32.1% from the field in the first half, but hit over half their field goals (51.6%) in the second half, helping them get back into the game.

No. 24 Wisconsin staved off a late rally by Ohio State, extending its winning streak to six with a 70-68 victory Tuesday night.

Fueled by strong play from veteran wing John Tonje, Wisconsin prevailed from the foul line late to secure its fourteenth win of the 2024-25 season. Tonje logged a game-best 17 points off a perfect 10-of-10 mark from the free throw line in the victory.

After a few days off to regroup, Ohio State (10-6, 2-3 B1G) heads to Madison tonight to face No. 24 Wisconsin (13-3, 3-2 B1G) in a key conference matchup that marks the Buckeyes’ second game in a row against a top-25 team and kicks off a tough three-game stretch.
