Connor McDavid may be the best player in the NHL, but from time to time he's been known to get dirty, and now he may be faced with the consequences of a suspension or fine.

The 6-foot-1 forward was in the defensive zone when he caught an elbow from Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid. Johansson immediately fell over and his helmet also came off later. There was no penalty on the play despite McDavid sticking his elbow out,

It’s hard to see on a replay, but if you look closely, you can see McDavid slyly lift his elbow into Johansson’s face before the Wild forward falls to the ice in pain. There w
