Acer is putting AMD chips in its ultra-thin Swift Go 16 AI and Swift Go 14 AI Copilot Plus laptops, both of which come with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor. Until now, Acer only offered its Swift Go 14 Copilot Plus laptop with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor.

Acer has announced new models in its Swift Go laptop line. This includes the standard and AI-powered versions, which will be released in 2025.

The Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-74) is a thin and light laptop with support for up to a 3K OLED or 2K IPS LCD touchscreen display, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage.

New Swift Go 16 AI and Swift Go 14 AI laptops are Copilot+ PCs[1] that feature an all-new anodized aluminum chassis design with a dual arrow pattern on the top cover; new line delivers the latest AI capabilities powered by the new AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series processors and comes in two display options: OLED or IPS touch.

Today at CES, Acer unveiled 2025 versions of its lightweight Swift Go and eco-friendly Aspire Vero line of laptops. These models boast the latest Intel Core Ultra 200H processors as well as high-speed 5G and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Acer is expanding its Swift Go line of thin and laptops with a new Acer Swift Go AI line featuring a new design (with an anodized aluminum chassis with a “dual arrow pattern” on the cover.
