Mads Petersen, owner of Greenland-based startup Arctic Unmanned, sat in a car to keep warm while he tested a small drone at minus 43 degrees Celsius (minus 45 degrees Fahrenheit).

The Secretary-General of NATO, Mark Rutte, and the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, have agreed on the need to strengthen defenses in the Arctic, according to a Reuters source knowledgeable about the discussions.

Denmark has unveiled plans to allocate around DKr14bn (equivalent to $1.96bn) for the enhancement of its military capabilities in the Arctic and North Atlantic territories. The consensus on this allocation was reached by the political parties including the Greenlandic and Faroese Governments that support the 2024-2033 Danish Defence Agreement.

Polestar teased its first version of this lineup in 2022 by some rally lights and OZ Racing wheels on a Polestar 2, but the official launch of the Arctic Circle cars brings two more models along for the ride — or rather, the slide. For 2025, Polestar's rally-inspired lineup will feature a Polestar 3 and 4 as well.

There’s much more to Sweden than Ikea, fika, and those neat-looking “moose ahead” signs.
