MUMBAI: With Devendra Fadnavis of the BJP set to take oath as chief minister on Thursday and the Shiv Sena having settled for the deputy chief minister's post and about a dozen ministerial berths, hectic lobbying has begun among MLAs and MLCs for portfolios.

Shiv Sena MLAs said they met Eknath Shinde, who is currently the caretaker chief minister, in the last two days to convince him to become part of the new government.
