Everyone was calling for it. Everyone was clamoring for Philadelphia Flyers GM Daniel Briere to make a major trade to shake up the core of his roster. Well, on Thursday night, Briere delivered. As Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli first reported,

The Philadelphia Flyers are in the thick of the playoff race in 2024-25. They have work to do in a tight Wild Card race, however. Many expected the Flyers to make a trade leading into the March 7th deadline.

Frost and Farabee have been trade candidates for the Flyers for quite some time and now both players are heading to Calgary. Frost has appeared in 48 games this season, where he has 11 goals and 25 points. Farabee, on the other hand, has eight goals and 19 points in 49 contests.
