The alleged victim in the assault trial of A$AP Rocky is expected to return to the witness stand as attorneys question him about the night he says he was shot and injured by the rapper-turned-fashion designer.

A$AP Relli claims that A$AP Rocky threatened his life with a gun, and he was willing to die for his “respect.” With the trial underway, Relli, né Terell Ephron, took the stand on Tuesday (Jan. 28) to recount how the 2021 incident transpired.

LOS ANGELES (CN) — A$AP Relli, the childhood friend of star rapper A$AP Rocky, testified in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday about an angry altercation on the streets of Hollywood in 2021 that led to a shooting.

With partner Rihanna in court in support, Rakim Mayers — who raps as ASAP Rocky — faced testimony from his former collaborator, the alleged victim of a 2021 Hollywood shooting.

The “Umbrella” singer, 36, dressed in all black and sat in the gallery at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in downtown Los Angeles between Rocky’s mother, Renee Black, and his sister, Erika B. Mayers.

When Ephron returned to the stand Wednesday to detail the alleged shooting, Rocky's partner, Rihanna, was reportedly seated in between the rapper's mother and sister in the courtroom. Ephron described how Rocky allegedly "shot down" with the gun and explained the contents of surveillance footage that was shown to the courtroom.

A$AP Rocky's accuser, former friend and the key witness at his trial is set to take the stand Tuesday afternoon. Rocky, the rapper and partner of Rihanna, has pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm for allegedly firing at the friend who goes by A$AP Relli.
