Saturday Night's Main Event returns this weekend, marking the first time in nearly two decades WWE has revived their classic program. Never a weekly program, Saturday Night's Main Event aired on NBC at various times of the year from 1985 to 1992 and was revived for a brief run starting in 2006.

Cyndi Lauper and Captain Lou Albano made magic for pro wrestling in the 1980s. Four decades later, the WWE is dipping back into that nostalgia well.

This Saturday, the WWE Universe will witness the return of a classic event, Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show will feature both the major men’s championships. Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed Universal Championship against Kevin Owens.
